Programmable Servo Controller
PSC7000 is a programmable servo controller upgraded from PSC5000 series.
Provides most optimal solutions tailored to your needs by manipulating multiaxes synchronously controlled applications or servo applications in combination with the Reliance Electric’s new servo drive VZ7000 series.
The PSC7000 Control Card is an integrated controller system, combining all the primary functions into one unit. The user can implement servo control on PSC7000 by programming the PSC7000 controller. The PSC7000 provides Ethernet communication module as well as input/output circuits required for servo control including feedback input (response from motors) and analog output.
It is SERCOS master module that enables SERCOS communication with inverters.
PG can provide and control up to 5 independent channels for incremental pulse encoder input and for analog output respectively. Each of the channels has its respective input and output circuits. The PSC7000 Control Card can accommodate two PG modules to manage up to 10 shafts.
The DSP module contains a DSP processor to run servo control program and is indispensable to operate the PSC7000 Control Card.
The modules are mounted in the slots in the lower part of the PSC Control Card. There are 3 types of Compact PCI slots, PICMG2.1 rev3.0. Depending on the user’s choice and intended use, the controller can be created in combination with the SERCOS, PG and DSP modules.

Provides high-speed synchronous communication between drive units through SERCOS interface.
Provides 150MFLOPS calculation through high-speed DSP.
Up to 10 shafts per rack for high-speed synchronous control (when PG input and analog output are used) From 32 up to 224 shafts per rack for high-speed synchronous control (when SERCOS interface is activated).
Not only conventional PG signal feedback but control system through SERCOS, SynchLink, resolver and high resolution encoder is enabled.
Supports diverse networks including DCS net, CC-Link, DeviceNet, etc.
Reduces time required for upload/download of application and programs through fast PC connection. Real-time unit diagnosis is enabled through the oscilloscope function of fast sampling when USB debugging is active.
Downloading user data with use of a small, fast, high-capacity removable mass storage device ensures reliability for consistent performance.
Registers the time when an error event occurs.
