ＲＥＪ is an eco-friendly company, proactively building environmental sustainability into our eco-conscious design and production process. We contribute to cost reduction and energy saving of our customers.
ISO14001 certified are the design, development, manufacture and repairing & parts supply services of the following products:
1) Electrical variable drive control equipment and systems for industrial use
2) Automatic control equipment for semiconductor manufacturing
3) PV-EV system control equipment
Authorized areas of ISO14001 do NOT include Osaka sales office and Nagoya sales office.
ＲＥＪ is committed to taking an active role in conservation and protection of global environment as one of the top priority issues. In every aspect of business activities, we are promoting environmentally friendly behaviors to contribute to the sustainable growth of society.

3. Environmental Impact Reduction and Resource Circulating Society Establishment
1) Develop proper business waste management to reduce pollution and recycle useful materials.
2) Reduce greenhouse gas emissions to address global warming.
3) Implement waste management to prevent harm to human health by reducing the volume and hazardous character of industrial waste.
4. Environmental Awareness and Education
Implement education programs that help our employees raise the level of consciousness and improve attitudes toward environmental protection.
5. Continuous Improvement Efforts
Practice an environmental management system through consistent control of plan-do-check-act process.

Chemicals in products are likely to cause harmful effects on people’s health or can lead to an increased risk of contamination of the environment and natural resources at the end of service life of the products when recycled or disposed.
REJ is proactively committed to apply sound and sustainable management of chemicals in each stage of the design, development, procurement and production of our products, thus ensure product safety and minimize the environmental impact.
For human and planetary health, we strive to review our current efforts and strategies including RoHS implementation, environmental conservation and preservation.
Except for some special-purpose electrical or electronic components that are technically impossible to be replaced, REJ products do not contain the following restricted materials according to RoHS Directive (2011/65/EU) and including all amendments through RoHS 3 (EU Directive 2015/863);
Cadmium, Lead, Mercury, Hexavalent chromium, PBB, PBDE, DEHP, BBP, DBP, DIBP
The Beautification Committee was established over 10 years ago and during that period has improved our community environment. The committee consists of members and volunteers. The purpose of the committee is to implement actions that beautify and enhance the overall appearance of our Yokohama office, community and the quality of work life of employees by picking up litter and garbage. Further, the committee organizes a cleanup event twice a year to assist in changing the surroundings of the Umi-no-koen Park and Nojima Park in Kanazawa, Yokohama.

ＲＥＪ annually raises funds for saving the atmosphere and the earth. Through the independent administrative entity, the raised money is contributed to NGO and NPO that promote environmental protection plans to provide information on education, volunteerism, increase the effectiveness of local and regional communities working on environmental issues and offer a variety of training opportunities.

REJ is committed to reducing the environmental impact of our operations by providing eco-friendly control products, technology and solutions in a broad range of industrial fields. For energy conservation and effective use of natural resources, our products are designed to have less hazardous materials, less waste, less energy, longer service life, and potential for reusing or recycling.
